We would like to clarify that CIC’s bank account has not been closed. A former signatory attempted to close our HSBC charity account, causing temporary disruption, including cancelled direct debits and an unauthorised address change.
Alhamdulilah, the account remains fully operational, and with HSBC’s support, we have 1) Removed former signatories and added new ones per Trustee guidelines.
2) Restored the registered address.
3) Reinstated all payments, including direct debits.
4) Introduced a two-signatory mandate for payments over £100 to enhance financial oversight.
